We are open under Level 2
We are pleased to tell you that we are open and able to provide routine dental care under Level 2 guidelines to all those who are free or recovered from Covid-19. We are all enjoying the increased freedom with Level 2 and we have been delighted to welcome patients back to the practice.
There are few additions to the way we must deliver services but clinically it is almost the same. Dentists have always operated with high levels of cross infection control in the clinics to keep our patients safe and we continue to do so. We are taking extra precautions to keep you, your fellow patients and our staff well from community transmission. If you are Covid-19 positive or are required to self isolate and have a dental problem then contact us for advice.
We have plenty of hand sanitiser and the common areas are regularly cleaned and sanitised throughout the day. When making appointments we will ask a series of questions to check that you are well, these same questions must be asked again on your arrival at the surgery. If you are unwell or have the symptoms of a cold or flu we will need to defer your appointment, please do not come to the surgery. We are also required to keep a register of all persons who enter the practice should contact tracing be needed. Patients with some medical problems and those over 70 years of age are considered more at risk and we will advise you on the best way to see us. All patients are asked to come alone if possible or only bring one support person and to arrive just in time for your appointment so that the waiting room does not fill up.
We are already hard at work catching with patients who had appointments cancelled or developed problems over the lock down. If you have an urgent problem or think we have missed you please call the surgery and let us know.
